Corporate Social Responsibility

At Asian Star, we believe that social responsibility is an integral part of our value system, and therefore sharing corporate benefits with society is a necessity. Through our endeavours in this direction, we aim to make positive change in areas of education, healthcare, women empowerment, disaster management and environment protection, among others.

We seek to promote knowledge acumen amongst the youth through focus on their basic education and have established schools at Sagrosana and Takarwada in Gujarat. We also work closely with the Ministry of Education in Gujarat and the Tribal Integrated Development and Education Trust to serve a large number of disabled school children. Scholarships are advanced to such differently abled students for pursuing education in schools, colleges and institutions.

With a view to improve the academic performance of students in rural areas, Asian Star contributed towards providing better educational facilities to children residing in aadivasi area at Vikramgad, Maharashtra, and also distributed educational materials to indigent children at Nandurbar, Maharashtra, by partnering with Walk Together Foundation and Light of Life Trust respectively.

We also aid the activity of distributing midday meals to unprivileged school children along with Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust and ISKCON Food Relief Foundation.

Health Care

To enhance the access to quality and affordable healthcare services to deprived and marginalized people, we support various welfare programs organized regularly by non-profit organizations. Likewise, direct donations are also given to individual patients suffering from heart issues, kidney disorder and other life threatening diseases.

In line with this commitment, the company contributed towards Mobile Medical Vans that provide qualified medical services to more than 350 villages around Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in association with Sanjivani Health and Relief Committee. Moreover, free cataract surgeries were conducted for about 1000 economically backward patients in collaboration with Vision Foundation of India.

Dedicated to the objective of securing the lives of differently-abled individuals, Asian Star in aid of Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust contributed towards Mega Mobility Rehabilitation Camp. This camp was organized over several days to provide mobility aids to needy people suffering from polio, hearing imparity and other physical disabilities. more+

As a part of its social project, Asian Star contributed funds towards the expansion of Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital situated in the heart of Dharampur town, Valsad district in Gujarat. more+

Asian Star extended its support to Shree Mahavir Health & Medical Relief Society’s Cancer Hospital in Surat. more+

Humanitarian Aid

As a socially responsible company, we have always associated ourselves with various community welfare and social upliftment projects. We have extended our support to the task of desilting in drought prone areas of Maharashtra, undertaken by Samast Mahajan. The process will help to eradicate drought situation by conserving and restoring water bodies in future. We have also provided lifetime shelter and rehabilitation to old, abandoned, disabled, mentally ill people by sponsoring the construction of rooms for such special people in partnership with Sevadham Ashram.

To fight against the heinous crime of child sexual abuse, we support RUBAROO, an NGO that fights the menace of Child Sexual Abuse in India. more+

We believe in taking care of those who take care of our nation’s security. As an expression of this belief, we contribute towards Army Welfare Fund established by Indian Army that advances monetary assistance to widows, next of kin and dependents of battle casualties.

In the current pandemic situation, we pledge to support India in its fight against COVID-19 and will continue to extend our support over time to help the nation overcome this global crisis. more+
