Education
We seek to promote knowledge acumen amongst the youth through focus on their basic education and have established schools at Sagrosana and Takarwada in Gujarat. We also work closely with the Ministry of Education in Gujarat and the Tribal Integrated Development and Education Trust to serve a large number of disabled school children. Scholarships are advanced to such differently abled students for pursuing education in schools, colleges and institutions.
With a view to improve the academic performance of students in rural areas, Asian Star contributed towards providing better educational facilities to children residing in aadivasi area at Vikramgad, Maharashtra by partnering with Walk Together Foundation. We also worked with Light of Life Trust to distribute educational materials to indigent children at Nandurbar, Maharashtra, and supported their cause at the Tata Mumbai Marathon to provide better education to the girl child. +More
We also aid the activity of distributing midday meals to unprivileged school children along with Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust and ISKCON Food Relief Foundation.
